 (Geneva): There is more evidence that the new Omicron mutation virus is affecting the upper respiratory tract, causing milder symptoms than before and making a difference, says the World Health Organization (WHO). Strong in some places between high infection rates and low mortality rates. This is according to the release by Reuters on Tuesday, January 4, 2022.

 "We are finding more and more studies showing that the omicron affects the upper body," WHO Director of Accident Management Abdi Mahmoud told Geneva-based reporters. "Unlike other organs, the lungs can cause severe pneumonia."
