BREAKING: Singapore continues to find new COVID-19 cases "in 811 cases", of which 404 are in Omikrong

 SINGAPORE, Jan. 8 (Xinhua) - Singapore reported 811 new cases of COVID-19 infection as of noon on Saturday, January 8, 2022. According to a release by CNA.

 Of the above cases, 544 were imported cases and the rest were domestic cases. The death toll nationwide rose to 837 after two new deaths were reported today, while a total of cases of COVID-19 infection rose to 284,802.
