As of 8 a.m. Wednesday, January 5, 2022, the number of COVID-19 cases worldwide has risen to 295,585,822. Of those, 5,474,166 were killed and 256,116,403 were recovered.
According to data from the international website Worldometer, the outbreak of Kovid 19 is still acute, with new cases and deaths still high.
The United States remains the country with the highest number of people infected and dying from COVID-19. The United States has 58,040,720 cases of COVID-19 infection, 851,439 deaths and 41,901,183 cases.
The second largest country in the world in terms of 19 cases of Kovid is India. India had 35,018,358 infections, 482,551 deaths and 34,321,803 cases.
The third largest country is Brazil. Brazil had 22,323,837 infections, 619,426 deaths and 21,567,845 cases cured.
