Ministry of Health announces 4th COVID-19 vaccination campaign for target groups in Phnom Penh
(Phnom Penh): Mrs. O Vandin, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Health and Chair of the COVID-19 Vaccination Commission, has issued a notification announcing the launch of the 4th COVID-19 vaccination campaign for the target group in Phnom Penh.
The announcement, obtained by Fresh News on the morning of January 9, 2022, states that the National COVID-19 Commission will provide a fourth dose of COVID-19 vaccine using Pfizer. To the leaders of the Royal Government, the Senate, the National Assembly, front-line doctors (both public and private), civil servants, the army, the National Police, to local authorities and the authorities of the elderly over the age of 60, embassy staff, national and international organizations, journalists and members. Members of the Cambodian Association of Cambodian Artists who have already received the first dose of COVID-19 or booster dose have a gap of 4 months or more after the third dose of COVID-19 booster shot.
According to the COVID-19 Vaccination Commission nationwide, the launch of the fourth vaccination campaign for this target group will take place from January 14, 2022 at various national hospitals in Phnom Penh.
