Former NagaWorld employee released by court calls on protesters to return to talks to end dispute and win

 (Phnom Penh): Mr. Sok Kongkea, a former employee of NagaWorld Limited, on the night of January 6, 2022, called on all former employees of NagaWorld who are protesting to turn to negotiations to end the dispute and win together.

 Through Facebook, Mr. Sok Kongkea said, "I, Sok Kongkea, a former employee of NagaWorld Limited, would like to appeal to those who are protesting to turn to negotiations with the company through the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training in order to find "We will win together and end this dispute for the benefit of the people."

 He added that the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training has announced the readiness to meet with you to sit and review with each other the payment of severance pay in accordance with the law at the Ministry. Together, end this dispute peacefully!

 It should be noted that Mr. Sok Kongkea, Ms. Chhim Sithor and Mr. Sok Narith were arrested on January 4, 2022 at a gathering place near NagaWorld according to the court order, but after questioning and listening to the confession, Sok Kongkea was granted bail by the court and placed under custody.

 So far, all eight defendants have been remanded in custody in connection with a case of inciting a rally in front of NagaWorld on the same charges of "inciting serious social unrest." These include: 1. Chhim Sithor, 2. Ry Sovandy, 3. Son Sreypech, 4. Hay Sopheap, 5. Dream Warehouse, 6. Touch Serey Meas, 7. Chhim Sokhon and the 8th. Sok Narith.
