 (Cambodia): As of 8 am on January 5, 2022, the number of COVID-19 cases in ASEAN member countries has increased to 14,972,167, an increase of more than 20,000 people. Yesterday's figure included 305,694 deaths from the disease in ASEAN. This is according to data from the website that monitors the spread of Covid 19 in the world WORLDOMETER.

 Indonesia remains the country with the highest number of people infected and dying from COVID-19 among all ASEAN members. Then the Philippines and Matabisi.
