China finds 157 daily COVID-19s in Monday's report
BEIJING, Jan. 10 (Xinhua) - Chinese health authorities on Monday reported 157 cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, down slightly from the previous day. This past weekend, there were 165 cases. According to a release by CGTN.
In its statement, the National Health Commission said that of the 157 cases, 97 were in the community and 60 were imports. In addition, 42 asymptomatic COVID-19 infections were reported, while 699 symptomatic patients were receiving treatment.
Adding the above daily infection figures brings the total number of COVID-19 infections in China to 103,776, of which 4,636 have died since January 2021.
