BREAKING: Vietnam finds 15,779 new cases of COVID-19, including 2,811 cases in Hanoi and 202 new deaths
HANOI: The Vietnamese Ministry of Health on Sunday announced an additional 15,779 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours. This was released by the Viet Nam News Agency on the night of January 9, 2022.
Hanoi, which is currently the epicenter of the outbreak, covered 2,811 new cases today, while Ho Chi Minh City reported 472 cases. The provinces with the highest number of cases are Hải Phòng with 836 cases, Khánh Hòa with 790 cases and Bình Phước with 679 cases.
In a report on Sunday, the Vietnamese Ministry of Health also announced 202 new deaths due to COVID-19.
As of the night of January 9, 2022, Vietnam had a total of 1,899,575 cases of COVID-19 infection, of which 1,500,248 were cured and the total number of deaths. 34,319 people.
