Vietnam found 19,977 new Kovid cases, including 1,612 in Hanoi, 687 in Ho Chi Minh City and 225 new deaths in its report.
HANOI (Reuters) - Vietnam's Ministry of Health on Monday announced an additional 14,977 new cases of Kovid 19 in the last 24 hours. This is according to the release by the Viet Nam News Agency on the night of December 20, 2021.
Of the above cases, 11 were imported cases and the rest were domestic cases. Hanoi, which is currently the epicenter of the outbreak, covered 1,612 new infections today, while Ho Chi Minh City reported 687, down the most. The provinces with the highest number of cases were Bến Tre (985 cases), Cà Mau (967 cases) and Tây Ninh (947 cases).
In a report on Monday, the Vietnamese Ministry of Health also announced an additional 225 new cases of Kovid 19.
As of the night of December 20, 2021, Vietnam had a total of 1,555,455 cases of Kovid-19 infection, of which 1,109,899 were cured and the total number of deaths. 29,791 people.
