BREAKING: Vietnam found 19,157 new Kovid cases, including 1,834 in Hanoi, 679 in Ho Chi Minh City and 235 new deaths.
HANOI: The Vietnamese Ministry of Health on Friday announced 16,157 new cases of Kovid 19 infection in the last 24 hours. This was released by the Viet Nam News Agency on the night of December 24, 2021.
Of the above cases, 15 were imported cases and the rest were domestic cases. Hanoi, which is currently the epicenter of the outbreak, covered 1,834 new cases today, while Ho Chi Minh City reported 679 cases, a sharp drop. The provinces with the highest number of cases were Cà Mau with 1,334 cases, Tây Ninh with 948 cases and Vĩnh Long with 868 cases.
In a report on Friday, the Vietnamese Ministry of Health also announced an additional 235 new cases of Kovid 19.
In total, as of the night of December 24, 2021, Vietnam had a total of 1,620,869 cases of Kovid-19 infection nationwide, of which 1,215,261 patients were cured and the total number of deaths. 30,766 people.
